1. Program Overview
The Penny Essentials Affiliate Program allows individuals and businesses to earn commissions by referring customers to purchase products on www.pennyessentials.co.ke using unique affiliate links.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Affiliate Program, applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Provide accurate and complete registration and payment details
- Maintain active, credible, and well-established social media or digital platforms suitable for ethical product promotion
- Be approved by Penny Essentials
Penny Essentials reserves the right to approve or decline any affiliate application at its discretion.
3. How Commissions Work
- Affiliates earn a commission for each successful and completed sale made through their affiliate link.
- Commission rates may vary by product or campaign.
Example Commission Structure (Illustrative):
- 5% commission on general products
- 10% commission on promotional or featured products
Example:
An order worth KES 5,000 at a 10% commission earns the affiliate KES 500.
4. Valid Sales
Commissions are paid only on:
- Orders that are paid, delivered, and not refunded
- Genuine customer purchases (no self-referrals)
The following do not qualify:
- Cancelled orders
- Returned or refunded items
- Fraudulent or test purchases
5. Affiliate Responsibilities
Affiliates must:
- Promote Penny Essentials honestly and professionally
- Use only official affiliate links and approved materials
- Clearly disclose affiliate relationships where required
- Comply with Kenyan advertising and consumer protection laws
6. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates must not:
- Engage in spam or unsolicited promotions
- Misrepresent Penny Essentials, its pricing, or its products
- Use paid ads, trademarks, or domains impersonating Penny Essentials
- Offer unauthorized discounts or incentives
- Manipulate orders, referrals, or tracking systems
Violation may result in immediate termination and loss of unpaid commissions.
7. Tracking & Attribution
- Sales are tracked using cookies and unique affiliate links.
- Penny Essentials is not responsible for lost tracking caused by technical or user-side issues.
8. Payments
- Payouts are processed monthly
- A minimum payout threshold may apply
- Payments are made via M-Pesa or another agreed method
- Affiliates must provide correct payment details
9. Taxes
Affiliates are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes in accordance with Kenyan law.
10. Intellectual Property
- Affiliates may use Penny Essentials branding solely for promotion
- All intellectual property remains the property of Penny Essentials
- Usage rights end immediately upon termination
11. Termination
- Either party may terminate participation at any time
- Penny Essentials may withhold commissions where fraud or policy violations are suspected
12. Limitation of Liability
Penny Essentials is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from affiliate participation.
13. Changes to These Terms
Penny Essentials reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
